The future of apparel is circular, and we are committed to continuously explore new design strategies, sustainable fabric alternatives, and technologies to close the loop on material cycles.
Most importantly, about 80% of a product’s environmental footprint is determined in the design phase, which is why it is crucial for us to look at ways to positively influence a product’s life cycle and after-life-phase through innovative design solutions.
In response to this issue, we have created a collection of mono-material products. Here, we developed high-performance outerwear jackets and bags made entirely from on material: Nylon 6 (N6).
Our durable material is created in a circular system that is free of virgin petroleum-based plastics by using Nylon 6 derived from discarded post-industrial waste i.e. fishing nets through chemical recycling.
By using our state-of-the-art sustainable eco-laundry for dyeing and washing garments, we have put together a complete supply chain of virgin and regenerated N6 materials including the interlining zippers, and trims. By having the accessory items made completely from one material it ensures our product can be easily recycled multiple times.
